Trade Mission

Trade mission is the activity of bridging the candidate buyer in a region (in this case the foreign buyers) with the candidate exporter from Indonesia. This activity is G to B (Government to Business) activity and B to B (Business to Business) because the Government seeks to bridge both parties to achieve a business deal.

Trade Mission 2011

  • India (January 2011)

Trade Mission to India is conducted simultaneously with the launching of Indonesia-India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (II-CECA) negotiation by President of Republic of Indonesia. The activity is to improve the economic cooperation, including trade and investment.

  • San Francisco, USA (August 2011)

Trade Mission to USA is at the same time utilizing the agenda of Trade and Investment Council (TIC) XI Meeting.

  • London (August 2011)

The activity is conducted along with the first meeting of Minister of Trade and the new Minister of Trade and Investment, Mr.  Stephen Green and also in-store promotion in Harrods.

  • Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan

The activity is conducted along with the 2nd Joint Commission Meeting which aims to probe the opportunity of potential non-traditional market.

  • South Africa (Semester I, 2011)

Trade Mission to South Africa is conducted along with the Joint Trade Committee, which aims to open the cooperation opportunity of trade between Indonesia and South Africa.

  • Uni Emirat Arab (quarter III, 2011)

Along with the Joint Economic Commission event, the activity is intended to improve trade relations between the two countries and take advantage of market access opportunities in the UAE as a country liaison in the Middle East and Africa.

  • South Korea

The activity was conducted together with the Trade Ministerial Meeting of RI - Republic of Korea which is intended to enhance cooperation in trade and investment.
