I have been exploring rattan material from my college years in 2006 and keep on working with the material ever since. I gain the experience on working with furniture design profesionally soon after my graduation in 2009 which started by working as an in house designer in PT. Alam Calamus and also as a designer and product developer on Zylia Design Studio from 2010 to 2012. I gain aknowledgment towards awards that I received from my works, including honourable mention on Singapore Furniture Design Awards, platinum prize of Indonesia Furniture Design Awards and Most Inspiring Furniture Design from Skala + Magazine. My works has been published in some respective local and international design medias on printed (including Skala + Magazine, Bravacasa Magazine, Surface Asia Magazine, Asia Master, Living Etc. Magazine, etc.) or online (Designboom, Contemporist, Design-Milk, Satulingkar, etc.). My teaching or lecturing experience including as a speaker on Social Entrepreneur for Sustainable Livelihood Creative Crafts conference in Bangkok Thailand; Furniture and Craft Act in Bandung, Indonesia; Design Statement in Solo and Jakarta, Indonesia ; Rattan Design Introduction in International Network for Bamboo and Rattan office in Beijing, China; Pecha Kucha Night in Bandung, Indonesia; Kankain Karkara in Desain.ID in Jakarta, Indonesia; and as a guest lecturer in Universitas Ciputra, Surabaya, Indonesia and many more.

To create a fruitful and positive programme that could resulted great benefit for both SMEs industries and also designers, need an integrated and long term collaboration between both sides, and mostly with the support from the governments or any association. The supports may vary from funding, access, networks, or any other thing that could increase the business prospects that may happened from the works resulted by the collaborative designers and SMEs industries.
To show the unique character of rattan material, with a unique approach on exploring structure with the usage of small rattan core, which shaped from the bavarian meal inspiration that not only could expose the bendy character of the material itself, but also, from the pretzel module, the intersection point also act as constructional support.
Shaped from the continuous loop of combined large and small rattan core materials, loop lounge chair was intended show the “bendy” character which has become the advantage of rattan materials. The attention of the details of “Loop” , especially on the construction and joint parts, was meant to add greater value on the piece of furniture.
