Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 27th Will Display Value-Added Export Products

Ministry of Trade of Indonesia will host the annual fair of  Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) on 17 to 21 October 2012 at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Jakarta. The theme for this year fair is "Trade with Remarkable Indonesia", TEI 2012 will feature a wide range of export products that have added value with the nation's best brands. In addition, TEI also offers services such as a product of skilled labor that meets international standards.

This fair is one of the government's efforts to continue increasing  exports, so as to contribute more in improving the country's economy. This is confirmed by the Minister for Trade, Gita Wirjawan, which states that, "Operation of TEI this year aims to maintain and improve national export performance of Indonesia to the traditional countries, as well as efforts to increase the diversification of export markets to non-traditional countries, such as countries of Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America. "

Director General of Export Development, Gusmardi Bustami describes "This year, TEI will be held in an area of 60,000 m2 which is followed by some 2,000 exhibitor and is expected to be visited by more than 6,000 international buyers”.

To attract potential and qualified buyers, the Ministry of Trade in cooperation with all representative offices abroad, whether Trade Attache or Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC). "

Besides fair, there are also supporting  activities such as Trade & Investment Forum, One-on-One Business Meetings, Business Clinic and Company Visit.

The products will be displayed on the TEI 2012, among other automotive components, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, electrical equipment, footwear, furniture, rubber and rubber products, textiles and textile products, essential oils, handicrafts, medicine herbs, jewelry and accessories, leather and leather products, processed foods, agricultural products, building materials, chemicals, food and beverages, household appliances, glassware, paper products, as well as sports equipment.
